I Took In Quite A Haul Today At Gonzaga!!!! See the Video!!!

When I buy a ton of cards at a show, I usually like to scan them and show them off. Today, I just bought too many card to scan so I thought I would present a video blog featuring the large quantity of vintage cards I purchased today at the Gonzaga show in Milwaukee. Note, some of the cards were purchased yesterday July 12, 2014, in Orland, though, the bulk are from Gonzaga. The blog is in two videos because I accidentally cut the first one off. Enjoy!

Thanks Tim! Great to see you!! I had a blast today!! I think I went home with 75 cents in my pocket but it was worth it. I have been having a lot of fun going through these cards.

Tony,
Sorry to hear about the cake but it looks like this haul more than made up for that. Can't wait to see these cards in a few weeks. Will be at the August Orland and Gonzaga shows. Also wanted to ask you if you know anything about the Rolling Meadows (Aug 3rd) and McHenry (July 27) shows as Ryan and I are hoping to check those out also.
Can't wait to come up there!

Andy

I have never been to the Rolling Meadows show because I usually set up at Fred Copp's show up the street at the Best Western Plus -- there are two shows on the same block!! From what I have been told, the Rolling Meadows show features mostly modern dealers. I was planning to set up at a flea market in Wilmot, WI, that weekend, but if you are going to be around I'll set up at Fred's show at the Best Western Plus. I noticed the McHenry show in Beckett. I think it is a new show. I know nothing about it. I'll be set up at Orland that day. See you in a few weeks!

Tony, I didn't see a Fred Copp show listed in Beckett for Aug 3rd. If you have it, can you send me that information? I see he has one on July 27 in Bloomingdale and didn't know if that was the show you mentioned. I may try to hit that one if the McHenry show is a dud. Looks like the Wilmot flea market is only 38 minutes from where I'm staying but that is the first I ever heard of that. Have you ever done the Elkhorn flea market? I've had some luck there (got a group of 72 high FB last year and a '48 Leaf Joe Louis and empty early 70s boxes the year before) and usually try to make it if I have time after the Gonzaga show.

Hi Andy, I checked the Beckett online calendar and it does not look like Fred listed any of his August shows yet. He always has a show at the Best Western at the same time as the Rolling Meadows show. So, I'm 99% certain he has show there on Aug. 3. On July 27th, I'll be at the Orland Park Show. I've never done the Elkhorn flea market but I've heard good things about it. I'll let you pick where I set up on the third since I haven't committed to anybody yet. Would you like to meet me at the Wilmot Flea Market or the Best Western Plus in Schaumburg, just down the road from the Rolling Meadows show?

Hey Tony,

Outstanding thanks for sharing. I could use a few of those Aarons especially the 62, 64 and the 61 AS. The card bunker is definitely a lot fuller since that haul. Oh yeah, I forgot to add one thing to my miserable Saturday. I go out Sunday morning to go to church and much to my surprise my vehicle got side swiped. See you in Orland.
