Frank, a customer not the dealer across the way, purchased my 1952 Topps Phil Cavaretta and 1967 Topps Roberto Clemente, Randy purchased a large pile of 1962 Topps baseball, another customer purchased a large pile of 1969 Topps baseball, another customer found a bunch of 1968 Topps baseball for his set, Larry picked up some 1955 Topps baseball, a new customer from Washington D.C. picked up a 1964 Topps Coin of Frank Howard, Willie found some cards to send out for 'graphs, Joe found some hockey cards, quite a few other guys pulled cards from my binders. I ended up having a really nice day.
On the buying front, Scott sold me some football star cards from 1969 through 1971 along with some 1972 Topps baseball high numbers. This was Scott's first show in about a year after battling some health issues. Welcome back Scott! Thanks for the cards and I look forward to seeing you all year long in Bloomingdale!!
I could not have had a more pleasant day. A big thank you to everyone who came out to the Bloomingdale show this past Sunday!!
I am setting up at two shows next weekend. The first is the Smith & Gordon Show Number 5 on Saturday, January 3, 2015, at the Clarion Hotel, 5311 S. Howell, in Milwaukee. We will be in the smaller Rembrandt Room for this show located on the western end of the hotel. As I type this, the dealer line up is me, Mark, Willie, Scott and Jim, Scotty P., Eli & Luis, and new dealer Mark Peterson. If any new dealers sign up, I'll post the names to the home page. I am working on my 1973 Topps binder and should have it ready to go by Saturday. For the second show Sunday, January 4, 2015, Mark and I are both setting up at the Wyndham Garden, formerly the Best Western Plus, at 1725 E. Algonquin in Schaumburg.
I hope everyone has a happy and safe new year and I look forward to seeing you this weekend in either Milwaukee or Schaumburg!!
