Gawd, it has been forever since I was last set up in Janesville. Unfortunately, this show conflicts with some of my other regular shows and I cannot set up consistently. Anyway, it was good to be back!
Superstar promoters John and Mike placed me next to the great Nelson Rodriguez and family. I was also next to Two Tone Wax. Nice crowd as usual.
I was not feeling well, as seems to be the theme for me lately. I do not recommend diabetes. I also waited too long to write this blog and don't remember what I sold. I think I had decent sales. I do remember that I brought out display cases. On the buying front, my T206 guy was there and I picked up a few. I also purchased a box of cards from Terry Hatch.
The main thing I remember about this show is the delicious pulled pork sandwich I devoured from the barbecue stand. Oh my, that was good!
The next Janesville show is slated for February 17, 2024, and I plan on attending that one as well. Hopefully the barbecue guys will be back!
More on my health -- I have really been struggling these past few months. I am on new meds and making sure I am taking my insulin regularly. I am just starting to get my strength back and hope to be up to speed on my blogs soon!
No rest for the weary! Oak Creek is coming up on Saturday, January 6, 2024. I am soooo far behind on answering messages -- it is tough to respond when I can't get out of bed. Sorry everybody! I will respond this week!!
