This was my first time setting up at the Pewaukee show and my first time in the town of Pewaukee. Nice show, nice town.
This show is run by the kind folks at Lake Country Cards who always run excellent shows. The show is located in a gym inside a school complex. I was set up near the front door, across from Tom Jahn. There were a few other vintage dealers.
I thought the show was well attended but not a whole lot of vintage customers. I did sell some cards but could have used a few more sales. Nothing on the buying front.
I did enjoy a hot dog from the concession stand and many diet Cokes. Overall the show had a real nice vibe. I will definitely set up here again. I appreciate the reasonable table fee.
The wife was kind enough to let me set up at the Pewaukee show as it was on our 28th wedding anniversary. We had a real nice dinner after the show.
The Pewaukee show is a monthly show usually on the third Saturday of the month.
I’ve fallen a little behind on the blog. Lot’s going on in my world. A lot of folks mentioned the blog at the Pewaukee show. Positive feedback is always much appreciated.
Orland blog coming soon. I am currently set up at a show in Naperville as I jot down my thoughts about Pewaukee. I’m setting up at a show in Countryside tomorrow.
The National is coming up next week. I’m never quite ready for the National. There is always cards to price! Come see me in Booth 3717.
Next Oak Creek show is August 9. My first all-vintage show is August 23, also in Oak Creek.
The 450-table MegaShow is set for September 20 at the Milwaukee County Sports Complex, 6000 Ryan Road, Franklin, WI.
